Background
Dr Jing Zhang co-founded Aqdot following her PhD in Chemistry at the University of Cambridge, where she co-invented the core technology that underpins the company’s chemtech platform. She now leads Aqdot’s strategic direction and operations, overseeing product development, manufacturing scale-up in Spain, and partnerships across multiple sectors。 Her background combines scientific research and commercial execution, with experience spanning technology translation, investment, and business development.
Before founding Aqdot, Jing was President of Cambridge University Entrepreneurs and worked on early-stage innovation projects connecting academia and industry. Jing holds a Bachelor of Philosophy (Honours) from the Australian National University, where she graduated with the University Medal.
